I fixed mine by gently tapping on the top of the Xbox right above the disc drive while inserting a disc. Sounds weird, but it worked!
Just replace the whole disc drive. It’s quicker and less hassle.
Take a can of compressed air and blow out any dust inside the disc reader area. Dust can sometimes block the laser.
I ended up contacting Xbox Support, and they helped me set up a repair. It was pretty smooth!
