I fixed mine by calibrating the controller through the Xbox Accessories app. Worth a shot!

I had the same issue and replacing the thumbstick module fixed it. If you're handy, you can do this yourself.

Make sure your controller's firmware is up to date. Connect it to your Xbox or PC and check for updates via the Xbox Accessories app.

Try cleaning the analog stick with some compressed air. Dust and debris can cause drift issues!
