Try doing a hard reset on your Xbox One by holding the power button for 10 seconds until it turns off, then turn it back on and retry the installation.
Go to the settings and cancel any pending updates or downloads. Then, restart the installation process from scratch.
Check your internet connection. A slow or disconnected network can cause installations to stop. Restart your router if necessary.
Sometimes just ejecting the disc (if you're using one) and reinserting it can help. Worked for me countless times!
