First, make sure your mic isn't muted on your headset! Double-check your in-game settings under the Audio tab to ensure voice chat is enabled.

Try a hard reset: Hold the power button on your Xbox for 10 seconds and restart. It works wonders sometimes.

Honestly, just reinstall Fortnite. It sounds drastic but it's fixed my mic issues in the past!

I've had this problem before! You might need to adjust your privacy settings in Xbox. Go to 'Settings' > 'Account' > 'Privacy & online safety' and make sure everything's set to 'Everyone'.
