Check for network interference. Cordless phones, microwaves, and other wireless devices can mess with your WiFi. Switching to a wired connection works wonders too.

Lowering your in-game graphics settings might help. Less load on the system can yield better network performance, and you won't notice any difference if all you care about is winning!

Update your network drivers and firmware. It sounds techy but it’s easier than getting sniped while lagging. Fresh drivers help smooth out the connection.

Quick fix: VPN. Using a gaming VPN can stabilize your connection to Fortnite servers. I’ve been using one and my packet loss disappeared faster than my V-Bucks!

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
