Quick fix! Just restart the app. 90% of the time, this solves it for me. If not, try toggling airplane mode on and off.

Check your in-game settings! Navigate to 'Settings' > 'Audio' and ensure that the mic and speaker options are turned on. Sometimes an update resets these settings.
