How to Fix Stick Drift on an Xbox 360 Controller
First-hand experience here: I usually fix stick drift by opening the controller and cleaning around the stick's base with isopropyl alcohol. Be careful and follow a guide if you can!

A quick fix is to try recalibrating the controller through your console settings. If that doesn't help, cleaning the analog sticks with some compressed air might do the trick.
Sometimes a hard reset of the controller works. Disconnect it, remove the batteries, wait a few minutes, and then connect it again.
Buy a new controller. It's not worth the hassle.
