How to fix Valorant CPU usage
If Valorant's gobbling up your CPU like there's no tomorrow, try a few things. First, make sure your drivers are up-to-date, especially your graphics driver. Sometimes, outdated drivers cause more strain on your CPU. Lowering your game's graphics settings can also help ease the load. If all else fails, check for background processes that might be eating into your CPU usage. Lastly, cap your FPS; it's like putting your CPU on a diet.

Another quick trick is to set Valorant to 'High Priority' in Task Manager. Right-click on your taskbar, open Task Manager, find Valorant, right-click, go to details, then set priority to high. This tells your computer, 'Hey, focus on this!'
Just buy a new PC, lol.
Honestly, I had the same issue, but after cleaning my PC from inside out (dust can actually be a big culprit for overheating and, in turn, high CPU usage), and making sure my cooling system was working properly, Valorant ran much smoother. Regular maintenance goes a long way.
