First, try cleaning around the button with a cotton swab and some rubbing alcohol. If that doesn't help, you might need to open it up and replace the bumper—there are great guides online for that.

Had this issue myself. A tiny drop of WD-40 in the right place can work magic—but be careful and don’t overdo it!

Just buy a new controller. Trust me, it's not worth the hassle trying to fix it. Plus, it's an excuse to upgrade to a newer model!

Sometimes a simple blow of compressed air around the button does wonders! Give it a try before diving into more serious repairs.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
