Double-tap the jump button and then hold down the shift key while in flight mode. You'll zoom like a rocket!
I've found that holding Shift while flying speeds things up a ton. Worked wonders for me during the Halloween event!
Equip a pair of wings and activate the flying mode. Then, use the 'Speed' button in your flight menu. Easy peasy!
