From personal experience, logging into Facebook through Real Racing 3 will automatically show which of your friends are playing. Add them directly from there!

You can't add friends directly in Real Racing 3. Just race and let destiny decide!

To friend someone on Real Racing 3, you need to connect your game profile to Facebook and then you can add friends who are also connected. Just make sure they accept your friend request!
