Getting a Forest Pylon in Terraria isn't too tricky! First, make sure you're in the Forest biome. You'll then need to boost the happiness of at least two NPCs living there by giving them their preferred living conditions. Each NPC has their own likes and dislikes, so placing them near NPCs they love and in their preferred biome boosts happiness. When they're happy enough, one of them will sell you the Forest Pylon. You can then place it and teleport between it and other Pylons you have in different biomes. Quick and easy travel!

Honestly, just build houses in the forest and stick any two NPCs there. I put the Guide and the Merchant in their own houses, and after some tweaking with their surroundings, one of them sold me the pylon. Wasn't that hard.

Just make the NPCs happy lol. Stick 'em where they wanna be, and boom, Forest Pylon is yours.
