Honestly, getting a Metal Detector can be a bit of a grind. Took me ages to find a Nymph, but it was totally worth it. Make sure your gear is up to par, and maybe bring a buddy to cover more ground.

Just farm Nymphs. They are the only ones dropping it. Happy hunting!

Metal Detector? Just buy Terraria on a platform that supports mods and download a mod that makes rare items easier to find. Problem solved.

To snag yourself a Metal Detector in Terraria, you've gotta defeat the Nymph, a rare enemy found in the cavern layers. She doesn't show up too often, so keep your eyes peeled and your weapons ready. Remember, persistence is key; keep exploring those caverns and she'll eventually pop up. Good luck!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
