Prismatic Shards are super rare, but you can find them by mining. Your best bet is hitting up the Mystic Stones in the Mines (floors 101-120) or the Quarry. Also, don’t forget about those Omni Geodes, since cracking them open at the Blacksmith can sometimes give you a Shard. And if you’re feeling brave, delve deep into the Skull Cavern, the deeper you go, the better your chances.

Hot take: Just focus on farming and forget the Prismatic Shard. It’ll show up when you least expect it. Stardew Valley’s all about patience and enjoying the journey, not just the loot!

You can also get lucky with Treasure Rooms in the Skull Cavern or by breaking open Omni Geodes. Fishing Treasure Chests and slaying certain monsters might drop one too, but that’s way rarer. Keep at it, and may the odds be ever in your favor, farmer!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
