Getting Black Fairy Dust in Terraria is all about defeating a specific enemy called the 'Dark Mummy'. These eerie wanderers can be found in Corrupt or Crimson Deserts during Hardmode. Keep in mind, the drop rate isn't 100%, so you might have to grind a bit. Happy hunting!

Black Fairy Dust? Just buy Terraria on another platform and start over. Kidding! Seriously though, stick to the Corrupt/Crimson deserts and battle those Dark Mummies. Eventually, you'll snag some.

Pro tip: Use a Battle Potion and Water Candle to increase spawn rates when hunting for Black Fairy Dust from Dark Mummies. Makes the grind way less of a hassle.

Just fight Dark Mummies, they drop it. No biggie.
