Just craft it, lol. You need 15 Vertebrae and go to a Crimson Altar. Easy peasy.
I actually crafted one last night! Make sure you're in the Crimson biome to find enough Vertebrae from the local mobs. Took me about 30 minutes of farming. Then just find a Crimson Altar, and boom, Bloody Spine is yours. Good luck with the Brain of Cthulhu; you'll need it!
