How to Get Fossil Armor in Terraria
To snag yourself some fossil armor in Terraria, you gotta get your hands dirty in the Underground Desert. Look for fossils, the spiky-looking blocks in there. You'll need a Nightmare or Deathbringer Pickaxe at least to mine 'em. Once you've got enough, use an Extractinator to turn those fossils into Sturdy Fossils. Craft the armor pieces at an Iron or Lead Anvil and boom, you're rocking fossil armor!

Crafting fossil armor is easy peasy if you have the right tools. First, you need to mine plenty of Desert Fossils from the Underground Desert biome. Make sure you have a good pickaxe, though, because not all will work on these blocks. Then, throw those fossils into an Extractinator to get Sturdy Fossils. With those, you can craft your fossil armor at an anvil. Took me a bit to figure this out, but it was totally worth it.
Just mine Desert Fossil in the Underground Desert and use an Extractinator. No need to complicate it.
Honestly, easier to just focus on getting better gear. Fossil armor is cool, but there are way better options later on.
