To strike gold (literally) in Stardew Valley, delve into the mines once you've hit level 80. The deeper levels, especially those past 80, are glittering with gold ore nodes. Bring your pickaxe and start swinging. Also, don't miss the Dust Sprites; defeating them can drop gold ore too. For an easier haul, check out the Skull Cavern in the desert, but be warned, it's tougher but the rewards are gold... literally.
Just buy it from the Blacksmith or the traveling Cart if mining isn't your jam. Sometimes, being rich in gold means spending some first.
