To unlock Grumpy Stumpy in Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2, you need to complete the 'It's all a Distraction' quest. You'll find this quest in the plant base; just look for the quest board. It might take a bit of effort, but Grumpy Stumpy is totally worth it for your zombie-fighting adventures.

Grumpy Stumpy isn't something you find lying around – you gotta earn him through a quest! I remember doing this and feeling pretty proud afterwards. It adds a bit of challenge but feels great once you have him on your team.
