To get hops in Stardew Valley, you gotta plant Hops Starter during the summer. You can buy Hops Starter from Pierre's general store. They take 11 days to grow, and once they do, you can harvest them daily. For the keg, you need to reach Farming Level 8. Once there, you'll unlock the keg crafting recipe which requires 30 wood, 1 copper bar, 1 iron bar, and 1 oak resin.

Hops? Summer. Keg? Level 8 farming. Craft it with wood, copper bar, iron bar, and oak resin. Simple.

If you're looking to craft a keg asap, focus on leveling up your farming by planting and harvesting crops, and don't forget to tap those oak trees early for the resin! I rushed my farming levels just by planting tons of crops and got to make kegs in no time. Hops are easy, just remember they grow on trellises so plan your farm layout accordingly.
