You can only return kickoffs in Retro Bowl if the opposing team doesn't score on their drive. Just hope they don't score, and you'll have your chance!

Trust me, I've played a ton of Retro Bowl. You can't actually return kickoffs. Best to focus on the parts of the game you can control!
