How to Get Lamar in GTA 5
Ah, the quest for Lamar! To get Lamar Davis as a character you can actually play with in GTA 5, you're kinda outta luck because he's not a playable character in the main storyline. HOWEVER, in GTA Online, Lamar plays a big role in various missions, giving you all the OG advice you need to navigate the streets. So, to 'get' Lamar, just jump into GTA Online and start completing missions he gives you. It's the closest you'll get to having him as your right-hand man!

Nope, Lamar ain't a pick. GTA doesn't let you play as him. Only comes in as mission control in GTA Online.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but you can't play as Lamar in GTA 5. He's a key character, sure, but not on the roster for players. Stick to Franklin, Michael, and Trevor for your criminal escapades.
