Honestly, most times it's your internet plan that's the bottleneck. Upgrading your internet speed might be the only real fix.

Turn off other devices connected to your network while playing. Too many devices eating up the bandwidth and it's game over for low ping.

Getting less ping in Rec Room isn't too tricky! First off, make sure you're playing on a wired connection if possible, as this can significantly reduce ping compared to WiFi. Also, closing other bandwidth-heavy applications on your device can help. If you're on WiFi, try moving closer to your router or even better, invest in a quality router that supports gaming. Sometimes, just choosing a game server closer to your location does wonders for reducing ping!

Just plug an ethernet cable into your device, simple as that. WiFi is a no-go for low ping gaming.

If you're a Rec Room player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Rec Room gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
