If you're using mods, some of them can be resource hogs. Try disabling them to see if your FPS improves. Worked for me!

Honestly, just get a better PC. Valheim is amazing, it deserves the hardware!

A quick fix: turn off V-Sync in the game's settings. It can sometimes cap your FPS unnecessarily. Happy viking-ing!

Have you tried using launch options? Add '-window-mode exclusive' and '-d3d11' to your Steam launch options. It can give a noticeable FPS boost.
