Switching out of 1st person in GTA 5 is super easy! If you're on console, just tap the touchpad on PS4/PS5 or the select button on Xbox One/Xbox Series X/S. On PC, hit the 'V' key a couple of times until you cycle back to 3rd person view. It's like magic, but with buttons!

Honestly, why leave 1st person? It's the best way to experience GTA 5's chaos up close. But hey, to each their own. Just hit 'V' on PC or the touchpad/select on consoles.
