Sorry, dude, Rain isn't officially available as a selectable character in Mortal Kombat XL. You'll have to enjoy his cameo in the story mode instead.

In Mortal Kombat XL, unfortunately, Rain isn't a fully playable character in the roster. He's in the story mode but can't be selected for regular gameplay. Bummer, I know!

I tried everything to unlock Rain in MKXL, but you can only see him in the story mode. He's not playable otherwise. Really hope they add him in a future update!
