Open your friends list, tap on the friend, then choose 'Remove Friend.' Problem solved!

Pro tip: Unfriend them from Facebook or Game Center if that's how you're connected; otherwise, just use the in-game unfriend option!

Just go to the 'Friends' tab, tap on the friend you want to remove, and you should see an option to delete them. Easy peasy!
