If you have too many items, build a trash can on your island and toss them in there. Just make sure it's away from valuable stuff so you don't accidentally delete them!
I just sell my extra items to vendors for Coins. It's a win-win! Less clutter and more cash!
Seriously, just drag and drop them off the side of the island. They disappear into the void. Quick and easy!
