Honestly, I found switching to a better ISP made the biggest difference. If your internet is slow or unreliable, no amount of tinkering with settings will help.

Ping spikes in Valorant can be a real drag, but there are a few tricks you can try to smooth things out. First, ensure your internet connection is stable. Wired connections are generally more reliable than Wi-Fi, so if you can, switch to an Ethernet cable. Also, close any background applications that might be hogging your bandwidth. Streaming, downloads, and even other devices connected to your network can impact your ping. Lastly, check if your router needs an update or a reset; sometimes that's all it takes to get back to low latency gaming.

Just play at odd hours when everyone else is asleep. Less traffic, better ping. Works for me!

Try using a VPN. Sometimes it routes your connection more efficiently than your ISP's default path. Not all VPNs are great for gaming though, so look for one with low latency.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
