The Aglet can be found mostly in Wooden Chests located on the surface or just underground. You might have to explore a bit since the chests are randomly placed. Also, don鈥檛 forget to check the chests in the Living Wood Trees and surface-level caves. Keep an eye out for those chests; luck plays a big part!
Wooden chests, people! Look in the wooden chests scattered around the world. That鈥檚 where I found mine after hours of searching.
Fishing in Terraria can also get you an Aglet! Hit those Wooden Crates you fish up; there's a chance they'll drop one.
