To unlock the Cyborg NPC in Terraria, you gotta defeat Plantera, a boss monster found in the Underground Jungle. After you've shown Plantera who's boss, the Cyborg will be ready to move into any suitable housing you've got. Just make sure you've got an open room for him!

Had to share my victory moment here - took down Plantera last night, and bam, the Cyborg showed up ready to move in. Now my Terraria world's got a bit more of that sci-fi vibe. Defeating Plantera is all it takes, folks!
