The dino egg you鈥檙e looking for is called the Fossil Egg! You could get it from the Gumball Machine in the Nursery when it was available. Sadly, it's out of rotation now, but you can trade with other players who have one. Happy hunting!
Fossil Eggs were in the Gumball Machine, but now they're replaced. Your best bet is to trade with someone who has extras.
Just trade for it. The Gumball Machine hasn't had Fossil Eggs for ages.
