The Habitat Builder fragments are usually around Lifepod 17 and near the Grassy Plateaus. Just make sure you have your scanner ready!

You get the Habitat Builder pretty early. Check the Navigator's tab in your PDA for location hints. Lifepod 6 is a good start!

You can find the Habitat Builder blueprint in a data box located in the Wrecks or around Lifepod 6. Keep an eye out for those glowy, rectangular boxes!
