You can restrict Wordscapes to WiFi only by going to Settings > Data Usage > Network access, and then unchecking mobile data for Wordscapes. Easy peasy!

Another way is to use 'Data Saver' mode on your Android. Go to Settings > Data Usage > Data Saver, and add Wordscapes to the unrestricted data list. But hey, just make sure you're always on WiFi when you play!
