How to give items in Terraria single player
In single player Terraria, you can't directly 'give' items to another player like you would in multiplayer, since it's just you. But, if you wanna transfer items between your own characters, you can use chests in a world accessible by both characters. Just drop the items you wanna give into a chest, switch characters, and then pick them up with the other one. Pretty handy for sharing resources between your characters!

Simply put, ya can't. Single player means solo adventure, no item trading with friends unless you jump into multiplayer. Keep those goodies to yourself!
