Just go to Settings > Account > Family Settings > Manage Family Members. Select your profile, then Privacy & Online Safety > Xbox Live Privacy, and you're good to go.

Navigate to Settings > Account > Privacy & Online Safety > Xbox Live Privacy. From there, customize settings and allow multiplayer gaming. Easy peasy!

I had the same question! Just go to Settings > Account > Family Settings > Manage Family Members. Select the player, then click Privacy & Online Safety > Xbox Live Privacy. Make sure 'Join Multiplayer Games' is allowed.

Go to Settings > Account > Family Settings > Manage Family Members. Then choose the member, click on Privacy & Online Safety, and allow multiplayer! Simple as that.
