To go back in Undertale, just walk in the opposite direction to revisit previous areas. Most doors and paths remain open.
You can't actually 'go back' in the game to undo choices, but you can replay from a previous save file or start a new game!
Pro tip: To reach previous areas, simply use the save points to teleport between saves. Makes backtracking much easier!
