Oh, looking to do some time, are we? In GTA 5, getting your character thrown in jail is pretty simple, but not exactly what happens gameplay-wise. When you get busted by the cops, either by getting caught during a crime or surrendering, instead of going to jail, the game fast forwards time, and you'll find yourself outside the nearest police station, minus some weapons and cash. So, technically, you can't explore the jail as a guest, but getting 'busted' is as close as it gets.

Just let the cops catch you. That's it. No big secret.

I tried getting my character to go to jail thinking there'd be some cool jailbreak mission. Spoiler: there isn't. You just lose some money and start outside the police station. Kinda disappointing if you ask me.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
