Just hit 'A' when you're near your ripe crops. If you're holding a tool, stash it first with 'Y' or you'll be doing some unintended landscaping instead of harvesting.

To harvest crops in Stardew Valley on your Switch, just walk up to the fully grown crop and press the 'A' button. Make sure your character isn't holding any tools, or you might accidentally use the tool instead of picking the crop. Happy farming!

Honestly, just walk up and press 'A'. If you struggle with this, farming might not be your calling.

Pro tip: Equip your scythe for harvesting multiple crops like wheat and amaranth faster. It's a game changer.

Equip nothing and press 'A' - if you've played any game ever, this should be instinctual.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
