Turn off motion blur and reduce particle effects. Trust me, your game will look just as good but run way smoother!
I'm running Warframe on a laptop from 2014, and lowering the resolution to 720p made it a lot more playable. Give it a shot!
Got a potato PC? Try using the 'Performance' preset in the settings. It sacrifices some visuals but boosts performance big time!
