You can't hide mutual friends directly, but you can change the privacy settings of your friends list under 'Settings & Privacy'. Go to 'Privacy', then 'Who can see your friends list?' and select 'Only me'. This way, others won't see who you鈥檙e friends with, but mutuals will still show up on their end.
Tried everything, but mutual friends will show up. Just set your friends list to 'Only me' from 'Privacy Settings' to minimize exposure.
