First-hand experience here: I stock up on tranquilizer darts and baits, then head out to the Plains. Use your scanner to find tracks, follow them, and when you get close, use your Echo-Lure. Be patient, and you'll be bagging critters in no time!
Just wing it! Hold a Tranq Rifle, wander around, and shoot anything that looks fluffy and cute!
You need to grab a Tranquilizer Rifle and some Echo-Lures from The Business at Fortuna! Then, head to the Plains of Eidolon during the day, find an animal track, use the Echo-Lure and follow the sound indicators to the animal. Happy hunting!
