First, make sure you've updated your graphics card drivers. Lowering in-game settings like shadows, textures, and effects can also make a big difference. And don't forget to disable background applications that hog system resources!
Honestly, just lower the resolution. It might not look as pretty, but your FPS will thank you.
Try disabling V-Sync and lowering the anti-aliasing settings. These tweaks got me those precious extra frames!
