Lower the graphics settings! Reducing shadows, vegetation quality, and draw distance really helps. Also, playing in Fullscreen mode instead of borderless window can give you a nice FPS bump.
Update your GPU drivers. Sometimes, outdated drivers are the culprit. Check for the latest drivers on NVIDIA or AMD's website and install them.
Use the Vulkan API! When you start Valheim, pick the Vulkan option instead of DirectX. This can often lead to better performance, especially on some hardware setups.
