OK, so first, gather those Soul Stones through Heroic Missions or buy them in the Tower and Outland Shops. Once you have enough, go to the hero’s profile and click upgrade. Easy peasy!

To increase hero stars in Hero Wars: Alliance, you've gotta collect Soul Stones for that hero. Find 'em in Heroic Missions, the Tower Shop, or the Outland Shop!
