Pause or cancel other downloads and limit the number of devices using the internet while you're downloading. Turning off the Xbox console and then restarting it can sometimes also help boost download speeds.

First, make sure your Xbox One is set as your home console and download in rest mode. This often speeds up downloads!

Ethernet cables are your BFF. Switch from WiFi to a wired connection for a significant boost in download speed.

Close all games and apps while downloading. Running other processes can slow down your download rates.

An Ethernet cable will give you a more stable and faster connection compared to WiFi. Try using one if you haven't already!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
