Just go to the Edge browser on your Xbox One, search for RetroArch, and follow the links to the downloads. Install it directly from there. Easy peasy!

Forget all that. Just use Developer Mode on your Xbox One, upload the RetroArch app, and switch back to Retail Mode. Done this a million times—works like a charm.
