Speaking from experience, you can manually download your selected mod, unzip it, and place it in the 'BepInEx/plugins' folder within your Valheim directory. Steam usually installs Valheim in 'Steam/steamapps/common/Valheim'. Launch the game, and the mod should be active. Just make sure to read the mod's individual instructions for any extra steps!

Ahoy, Viking! To install a Valheim mod, first download [BepInExPack Valheim](https://valheim.thunderstore.io/package/denikson/BepInExPack_Valheim/) from Thunderstore. Then unzip it into your Valheim folder (usually found in Steam/steamapps/common/Valheim). After that, plop the mod files (usually more zip files) into the BepInEx/plugins directory. Boot up the game, and boom, you're modded!
