I joined my first competitive team by showcasing my gameplay on Twitch and participating in community events. One of the team scouts noticed me during a local tournament. So, my advice? Get out there, be active online and off, and don't be shy to highlight your achievements and gameplay.

Joining an eSports team in Valorant usually starts with grinding your way up the ranks to get noticed. Play a lot, improve your skills, and make sure you're active in the community. Networking is key, so join Discord servers or forums where teams hang out. Participate in tournaments, even small ones, as they're a good way to show off your skills and meet people in the scene.

Just be really good lol. But seriously, rank up and stream your gameplay. Visibility helps a lot.

Hot take: Focus on building a personal brand as much as grinding ranks. A strong online presence can attract more opportunities than just being high rank.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
