Honestly, playing solo is better. No need to split those precious turnips.

Just a heads up, make sure your Switch Online subscription is active. Co-op needs it.

Joining a co-op in Stardew Valley on your Switch is super easy! First, one of you needs to host the game. Just go to the 'Co-op' option from the main menu, then select 'Host'. From there, you can either start a new farm or load an existing one. Make sure your farm has a cabin for each player. Then, the other player(s) select 'Co-op' > 'Join' from the main menu, and either join via the friends list if you're friends on the Switch, or by entering an invite code if you're not. Voila! Farming fun with friends!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
